Since 1973, the company has been under the direction of its president and founder, Patricia C. Denechaud, who in 1990 was awarded the Certified Meeting Professional designation by the Convention Liaison Council of Louisiana. In 1979, she was a co-founder of CONTACT, a national consortium of prestigious destination management firms with representation in the major convention cities in the United States and Canada. Mrs. Denechaud has been recognized extensively for her long history of community involvement in New Orleans and had the distinction of serving as the first female president of the New Orleans - World Trade Center, founded in 1945. She is also the co-editor of Zagat New Orleans Restaurant Survey Guide.
